SharePoint Connector using with service principal

Question:

From Canvas Application or Power Automate, when we use SharePoint connector, we will always use individual user credentials to connect.

Is it possible to use Service Principal with SharePoint Connector?

Answer:

At this point, there is no support for using Service Principal for SharePoint Connector. It is a much requested feature.

Currently it is in Microsoft Roadmap, mentioned by one of MS Product member in last MS Power Platform Conference 2023.

Hopefully, soon Microsoft will release the option to use Service Principal with SharePoint Connector.
